The Veterans Support Consortium (VSC) is a Joint Venture (JV) comprised of a select group of California organizations supporting Veteran family reintegration issues in the Western United States.
The goals of the Veterans Support Consortium are:
- To assist Transitioning Military Personnel (TMP) with reintegrating and reentry back into their family and community.
- To provide educational and career development assistance.
- To reduce incidence of employment instability and unemployment within the Veteran community.
- To provide ongoing career mentoring to ensure job stability.
- To reduce the collateral impacts of combat related stress such as family violence, divorce, drug abuse, joblessness, and suicide.
- To help the children of Veterans create a stronger bond with their military parent(s).
- To track program participants and gather metrics for continual program enhancement and to ascertain program efficacy.
The VSC is unique in its ability to demonstrate the probability of program success. We utilize stringent program monitoring, management, metrics documentation, and evaluation processes.
